further thoughts of Mr. Hill

Every had one of those days that just seem to keep going? that has been today it is only 9:35 and i feel as if it is well past midnight...it's crazy with the day getting shorter...and darker...i guess it's throwing off my biological clock...sure is funny though...the time changing...it kind of parallel's how this country is becoming less and less full of light (in the spiritual sense) it's kind of becoming a winter in our country a coldness to the love and warmth that only Christ can give. Interesting how the weather can give us a glimpse of how hopeless this country is becoming. It's also intersting how even though the day's are getting shorter spirtually the people who do hold on to God's light are becoming brighter. I see people who believe in Christ becoming stronger in him and pericing the darkness with G0d's light. It's only fitting for God's people to become the light Jesus himself said that we are the light of the world a city on a hill that can not be hidden...he also goes on to say that we are the salt of the and if the salt looses its flavor that it is worthless..and i notice as i watch beleivers that they are either becoming fully flavorful...or absolutely flavorless...there is more of a distinction...either warm or hot not lukewarm...these are just a few of my thoughts for the day...maybe they spoke to you if so...leave a comment and i'll respond...until next time...God Be with you, Zach

Wheel

"Wheel"
People have the right to fly
And will when it gets compromised
Their hearts say "Move along" Their minds say "Gotcha heart"
Let's move it along Let's move it along

And airports See it all the time
With someone's last goodbyeBlends in with someone's sigh
Cause someone's coming home
In hand a single rose

And that's the way this wheel keeps working now
That's the way this wheel keeps working now
And I won't be the lastNo I won't be the last,
To love her

And you can't build a house of leaves
And live like it's an evergreen
It's just a season thingIt's just this thing
that seasons do

And that's the way this wheel keeps working now
That's the way this wheel keeps working now
And you won't be the firstNo you won't be the first To love me
You can find me, if you ever want again
I'll be around the bend I'll be around the bend
I'll be around, I'll be around

And if you never stop when you wave goodbye
You just might find if you give it time
You will wave hello again
You just might wave hello again

And that's the way this wheel keeps working now
That's the way this wheel keeps working now
You can't love too much, one part of it

I believe that my life's gonna see
The love I give Return to me
I believe that my life's gonna seeThe love I give
Return to meI believe that my life's gonna see
The love I give Return to me

Lyrics to a good song by John Mayer. it's my thoughts for the day

reproach verses

Me and Dr. Copeland had a disagreement about whether a verse said reproach or reproof...it's no big deal neither of us were correct but here are some verses that deal with wisdom from proverbs and James:

Proverbs 15:32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. (Whole Chapter: Proverbs 15 In context: Proverbs 15:31-33)

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Proverbs 12
The House of the Righteous Shall Stand
1 Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge,
But he who hates correction is stupid.

just thought i'd share that with everyone...recieve instruction and be wise it's much easier in life if you recieve instruction and wisdom from people that have been through the things so that you don't make the same mistakes that they made...just a thought to think about.
